Grace Foods UK, the number one supplier of Caribbean food and drink to the UK*, brought the taste of Jamaica to the UK Premiere of the new biopic film, Bob Marley: One Love, which is in cinemas from 14 February.

The UK Premiere of Bob Marley: One Love was held in London on 30 January at the BFI Southbank. Each VIP guest received some tasty Caribbean-inspired snacks, Grace Plantain Chips, and a bottle of Grace Tropical Rhythms to enjoy.

Kingsley Ben-Adir, who plays Bob Marley, attended the premiere alongside stars James Norton, Lashana Lynch, James Norton, Tosin Cole, Umi Meyers, Anthony Welsh, Nia Ashi, Naomi Cowan, David Kerr, Stefan Wade and Micheal War with Director Reinaldo Marcus Green, and producers Ziggy Marley, Robert Teitel and Jeremy Kleiner were also in attendance.

Bob Marley: One Love celebrates the life and music of an icon who inspired generations through his message of love and unity. On the big screen for the first time, discover Bob's powerful story of overcoming adversity and the journey behind his revolutionary music. Produced in partnership with the Marley family and starring Kingsley Ben-Adir as the legendary musician and Lashana Lynch as his wife Rita.

London's leading entertainment centre, The Outernet, hosted a Bob Marley: One Love pop-up experience from 29 January to 3 February where fans were given access to an exclusive merchandise collection that included limited edition clothing together with Bob Marley vinyl and even Marley coffee.

On 30 January, the first 100 visitors through the door from 12.30pm received exclusive goody packs which included Grace Tropical Rhythms and Grace Plantain Chips and the chance to win tickets to the film's UK premiere that evening.

The focus on everything Caribbean at the start of 2024 coincides with a survey** by leading UK food wholesaler Bidfood, which found that dining out trends for the year would be driven by consumers desire to try authentic food, with Caribbean food leading the pack fuelled by the increasing number of Caribbean restaurants, pop-ups and food stalls across the UK serving up Caribbean comfort dishes such as rich, spicy stews that feature seafood, indigenous vegetables and meats such as goat.

Head of UK Marketing, Kimberley Lue Lim, said, "Bob is THE Jamaican music legend and all of the team at Grace Foods UK are thrilled to be able to treat the VIPs attending the event to the tastes and flavours of Jamaica, with our best-selling Grace Plantain Chips, the UK's most popular plantain chips, and the refreshing range of Grace Tropical Rhythms.

"Our goody bags packed full of Caribbean flavours were well received by the VIPs at the premieres, and along with the amazing movie and the sounds of Bob Marley brightened up a cold January day. And with Caribbean food trending for 2024, this is a great way to shine a light on the nutritious, wholesome ingredients of authentic food and tropical island flavours from the Caribbean."

Grace Tropical Rhythms is a range of drinks that features five tantalisingly refreshing flavours, packed full of Caribbean flavours that evoke tastes and memories of the Caribbean. They make great ingredients for cocktails and mocktails. The drinks include Mango Carrot; Pineapple and Ginger; Fruit Punch; Sorrel Ginger and are made from a blend of fruit and vegetables.

Grace Plantain Chips are the leading plantain brand in the UK and are available in eight flavours, including Green Banana, Sweet Plantain, Green Plantain, Chilli, Lime, Paprika, No Salt and Sweet Chilli. Grace's Plantain Chips range is currently the UK's number one Plantain Chips brand.
